We invest in understanding our customers so we can best meet their needs, and we’re committed to growing our business sustainably within scalable, strong models.

  • Donating & Fundraising

We invest in the communities around us, supporting charities including schools and hospitals in the UK, USA, Singapore, Hong Kong and many more.

Our products and services also leverage their specialised reach and influence for good causes. Flightglobal works with Médecins Sans Frontières providing free subscriptions to its ACAS database, and Salon International gives free stand space to charities including the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Alternative Hair Show. Estates Gazette supports LandAid, helping provide disadvantaged young people in the UK with access to buildings, skills and opportunities to achieve their potential.

  • Anti-trafficking

RBI is part of the RELX global task force to combat human trafficking. Our Accuity Solutions are the global standard for payment efficiency, compliant transactions, bank counterparty insight and anti-money laundering screening. Accuity aligns itself with organisations making a real and positive difference to stop human trafficking, and our staff volunteer at Traffick-Free, the Salvation Army, Teen Living Program and Shelter. Accuity has created care packages for victims and survivors of human trafficking, as well as raising and donating funds to human-trafficking not-for-profits.

  • Volunteering in our communities

We want RBI People  to support the charities that matter the most to them, that’s why we give everyone two days off each year, with full pay, to volunteer.

From sharing their expertise – providing charities will skills such as web development and content creation that they would struggle to fund from their own budgets – to Team Challenge Days where RBI People work on renovation or maintenance projects for a wide range of charities, RBI People take time out of the working week to make a positive impact on our local communities.

Globally, we work with a wide range of charities such as The National Trust in the UK, the YMCA in the USA and Guide Dogs Association in Singapore, to name just a few..

  • Environmental sustainability

Our global employee-led Green Teams work to reduce our carbon footprint with suppliers, customers and employees. We’re reducing the waste we send to landfill and cutting our paper use. We also comply with environmental building standards and encourage programmes such as cycling to work and car sharing.

  • Education

Through the RE Cares initiative, we help educate disadvantaged young people, supporting scholarships and organisations for young people in need worldwide. Each year we offer students and pupils the opportunity to gain valuable work experience through paid internships and school programmes.

  • Business ethics

We are signatories of the UN Global Compact and strive to advance its ten principles in support of human rights, fair labour, the environment and anti-bribery. We have also pledged support to the UN CEO Water Mandate which aims to promote sustainable, responsible use of water among leading businesses.

We recognise diversity as an asset in business, and we’re proud to have an inclusive culture where every employee is treated with respect.
