Our Reed Construction Data team support the American Institute of Architects Top 10 Green Projects awards programme, while all our UK offices have targets to meet environmental standards set by the Government each year.

Each office supports local charities - from homeless charity Streetlytes and specialist children’s hospital Great Ormond St in Central London to the Cancer Foundation in the Netherlands. We work with Open Hand Atlanta in Georgia, helping provide nutritious meals to those with chronic diseases, Good News Partners in Skokie which provides affordable housing and First Book DC in Washington. In Singapore our team provides funding for the Children’s Surgical Centre in Cambodia.

Reed Construction Data sponsors the Healthy Performance Healthy Schools Summit in Georgia, while Estates Gazette supports LandAid, helping provide young and disadvantaged in the UK access the buildings, skills and opportunities they need to achieve their potential, while Reed Business Netherlands supports the Slootermerschool Reading Project, helping young children to read.
Our commitment, through the Reed Elsevier Cares programme, to working with education for disadvantaged young people sees our brands support scholarship programmes and organisations across the globe. For example our team in Georgia donates cost-estimating software to nearly 30 universities from around the world for the biennial Solar Decathlon, a collegiate solar-house building competition, supported by the Department of Energy.
Our BankersAccuity team in Skokie, Illinois provides free advertising to professional networking organisation, Women in Public Finance, while our ICIS US team supports the Southwest Chemical Association College scholarships.
We support our staff in their own charitable activities, by giving them two days off each year to work with a charity of their choice. Our in-house charity teams organise fund-raising activities locally, and also support our staff’s own fundraising efforts by contributing to sponsorship.
Reed Business Information is committed to an ongoing programme of improving our environmental impact, working with our communities and supporting charitable works.
