RBI magazine Groenten & Fruit wins Dutch award

RBI magazine Groenten & Fruit (Vegetables & Fruit) has won the Alfred van Dijk Award, an annual Dutch award for the best journalistic product in the agricultural sector.

Groenten & Fruit was awarded for their 2003 Christmas Special, which reflected on the emotions of horticulturists during their day-to-day activities as entrepreneur. The jury praised the publication for choosing such a daring subject.

Editor in chief Mr. Eddy van der Wereld said: ‘Immediately after the release of this special, we had a lot of positive comments from readers who appreciated that the other side of the entrepreneur was highlighted. This appreciation was the most exiting aspect to us, because we make Groenten & Fruit primarly for the horticultural entrepreneurs.’
