Cahners Appoints Steve Nezer Chief Executive Officer of eLogic Corp.

New York, NY, January 10, 2002 - Cahners Business Information, a leading provider of critical information and marketing solutions to business professionals in the media, manufacturing, electronics, construction and retail industries, announced today that Steve Nezer has been appointed chief executive officer of eLogic Corp., a leading provider of outsourced content management, hosting and Web development services to large media companies.

Nezer, who joins eLogic on January 14, will report directly to Cahners’ new CEO, Jim Casella, and be charged with creating new streams of revenue as well as building a leading team of client-management professionals to serve current and future customers. eLogic founder Carl Midson, who has been leading the company on an interim basis, will step back into his role as chief technology officer.

Nezer has more than 30 years’ experience in the information technology marketplace. Most recently, Nezer served as executive vice president and chief process and technology officer of Modus Media International of Westwood, MA, a global leader in the supply chain marketplace. Before joining Modus Media, he served as vice president and general manager of the Storage and Networking division of Avid Technology, the market leader in software solutions for video editing, audio, animation, special effects and streaming media. Prior to that, he was a vice president at Computer Sciences Corp. in both the outsourcing and consulting divisions. Earlier, he held successive executive positions with the Wang Laboratory IT organization, with responsibilities for U.S. as well as global operations. Nezer began his business career in a series of technical and managerial positions with the Government of Israel and in Boston-area retail organizations.
