LifeBalance
Reed Business Information recognizes the need for employees to balance the
demands of work, family and personal needs. In response
to those needs, we offer our employees a resource and
referral program that provides free confidential assistance
in juggling the many demands of life and work. LifeBalance
can assist in situations ranging from finding childcare
or a new car to dealing with an addiction
disorder or with a troubled teen.
Compensation
The RBI philosophy is to successfully compensate employees
who model and support the companys vision, mission
and values.
Through a market-driven compensation initiative, we provide
line management with the necessary information from a
competitive base-salary market database to attract, retain
and motivate high performing employees.
Parental Leave Policy
RBI recognizes that the birth
or adoption of a child is an important family event and
that our employees need to establish a balance between
work and family. Our parental leave policy helps make
this possible.
We provide a salary continuation benefit of up to four
weeks to eligible employees (male or female) due to the
birth, adoption or foster care placement of a child. These
benefits are payable from the date of birth, or, in the
case of adoption, from the date the employee leaves the
company to adopt a child.
Adoption Assistance Program
RBI offers an Adoption Assistance Program (AAP) to
eligible employees. Through this program, we will provide
employees with 100% reimbursement of certain expenses
associated with the adoption of a child, up to a maximum
of $5,000.
Tuition Reimbursement
RBI supports continued educational programs that enhance
employees knowledge, skills and abilities. Our employees
are eligible for participation in the tuition reimbursement
program after completing 60 days of service. Employees
must maintain a grade of "C" or better to be
eligible for reimbursement. We will reimburse employees
for up to two courses per semester. |

Casual
Attire Dress Code
The business-appropriate casual dress code at RBI
reflects a relaxed environment that is most conducive
to creative, successful work.
Flextime
At the discretion of managers, flextime is available to
RBI employees. We support a flexible work week for
employees who can efficiently manage their time and work
load. |
