New Scientist Live shortlisted for three awards

New Scientist Live’s launch event in September 2016 has been shortlisted by Exhibition News (EN) for three awards.

The four-day festival in London featured five stages, four interactive zones, over a hundred speakers, more than two hundred exhibitors and was opened by astronaut Tim Peake.

It’s made the final cut for Best Consumer Show Marketing Campaign, Show Rising Star and Best Consumer Show – up against tough competition from the best individuals and companies in the events industry.

Winners will be announced at the 11th annual EN Awards gala dinner, which is being held ExCeL London on 30 March 2017.

John MacFarlane, Publishing Director, New Scientist added: “It’s a real achievement for our launch event to be up against big established competition like The Ideal Home Show, Grand Designs and London Comic Con.”

The next New Scientist Live event will be held at ExCel London from 28 September until 1 October 2017.
