Our Cares programme supports our local communities across the globe, and we actively support employee volunteering and giving that makes a positive impact on society.
In addition to local and personal initiatives of importance to our people, the programme’s core focus is on education for disadvantaged young people that advances one or more of our unique contributions as a business. We invest in the communities around us, supporting charities including schools and hospitals in the UK, USA, Singapore, Hong Kong and many more.
Our products and services also leverage their specialised reach and influence for good causes. FlightGlobal works with Médecins Sans Frontières providing free subscriptions to its ACAS database, and EG supports LandAid, helping provide disadvantaged young people in the UK with access to buildings, skills and opportunities to achieve their potential.
We give everyone in RBI people two days off each year, with full pay, to volunteer to support the charities that matter the most to them.
From sharing their expertise – providing charities will skills such as web development and content creation that they would struggle to fund from their own budgets – to team challenge days where RBI People work on renovation or maintenance projects for a wide range of charities, we take time out of the working week to make a positive impact on our local communities.
Globally, we work with a wide range of charities such as The National Trust in the UK, the YMCA in the USA and Guide Dogs Association in Singapore, to name just a few.
