Murdo has edited Flight International since 2004, during which time he has travelled extensively covering the global aerospace industry. He regularly appears on TV and radio as an aviation expert, and speaks at, and chairs conferences. Although he is happy to talk about most things aviation, his specialisms include the Middle East, corporate aviation and European industry.

Max Kingsley-Jones

Editor - Flight Airline Business


Max Kingsley-Jones has been editor of industry monthly magazine Flight Airline Business since December 2010. He previously spent 14 years with Flight International magazine, ultimately serving as Deputy Editor. Prior to joining Flight, Max spent 10 years working in various roles at UK aviation consultancy Airclaims, which is now Ascend and a division of FlightGlobal. The move to Airline Business followed a short spell with Aviation Week magazine as London bureau chief during 2010.

Craig Hoyle

Since 2003 Craig has covered the military sector for and Flight International from the UK, and is also responsible for compiling the annual World Air Forces directory. He has flown in numerous types of military aircraft, including the BAE Systems Harrier and Eurofighter Typhoon.

Michael joined FlightGlobal as air transport/MRO Reporter in December 2010 and has since become Editor. Apart from specialising in the maintenance, repair and overhaul sector, he covers regional news from his native Germany as well as Austria and Switzerland. He has previously written for other aerospace publications and worked in television production in Hamburg.
