New Scientist latest book Chance is launched

New Scientist have launched their latest book, Chance, part of their bestselling series that has sold over two million copies worldwide.

It was written by New Scientist Consultant Michael Brooks, who holds a PhD in quantum physics and is also the author of the hit books 13 Things That Don’t Make Sense and At the Edge of Uncertainty.

Like the bestselling Nothing before it, Chance again brings together some of New Scientist’s sharpest minds, this time to provide fascinating insights into luck, randomness, risk and probability. It explores the weird and wonderful world of what we call chance – what it really means and how we can use it to enhance our lives.

Chance is available to purchase online.
